Emirgan Woods
Emirgân Grove, İstanbul Sarıyer district is located in a korudur. Istanbul Strait coast, located between Emirgân-İstinye quarter. On the banks of the Bosphorus, 29.3 hectare area spread on top of the ridges and slopes. The surrounding area is surrounded by high walls.
Keep, 17. century Ottoman Sultan IV. Murad was the day gift for Iranian Orders by the Han. Previously known as region Feridun Gardens then became known as Emirgân Woods. Throughout the centuries, the town changed hands many times, 19. century Ottoman Sultan Abdülaziz by Hıdivi İsmail Pasha given to Egypt. 1871-1878, was built between the years in protecting 3 mansions. On reaching present day in this Pavilion are yellow, Pink and White Pavilion. in 1940, at the initiative of the Mayor of İstanbul Lütfi Kırdar kamulaştırılıp park was opened to the public in 2001.
Since 2006, each year, in April, the Tulip Festival is held.
